Wedged between Mother’s Day and the first day of summer, Father’s Day is a time to celebrate the men in our lives. Why not spoil dad with sports, spa treatments and amazing cuisine? It’s not too late to plan a special weekend with fun Father’s Day activities to show dad how much he’s loved and appreciated.

Father's Day activities
Indulge dad with golfing at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, or boating in Barbados.

Some men like to stay at home and relax on Father’s Day. A BBQ, maybe a bike ride, and special Father’s Day gifts are all they need for their special day. But but for those who like to get away for a day or two, surprise dad with Father’s Day activities the whole family will enjoy.

Cater to dad’s interests with activities like boating, flying, skydiving, golfing, baseball and beer tasting for a special day. But bring the kids, too, for family fun activities at a resort or in the great outdoors. Planning in advance is best, but even last minute ideas can create a perfect Father’s Day.
