Hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog. If your preschooler loves the hot dog song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, then Casey’s Corner at Disney’s Magic Kingdom may by a perfect quick service dining option for your family.

Casey's Corner is a quick service dining location in the Magic Kingdom offering baseball park style food including hotdogs, cotton candy, and cracker jacks!

Casey’s Corner: Quick, Family-Friendly Dining at Disney World

Casey’s Corner is a great counter service dining option my family and I discovered while visiting the Magic Kingdom for the first time. It’s located at the end of Main Street so it’s easy to grab a quick bite as you enter or leave the park, or as you pass through the hub from one land to another.

Casey’s Corner celebrates all things baseball, from fun memorabilia to yummy food you’d expect to find in a baseball park.

Menu at Casey’s Corner

Hot dogs are a quintessential baseball food and thus the cornerstone of the menu at Casey’s Corner as well. They offer chili-cheese dogs, polish sausages, corn dog nuggets and even a macaroni & cheese dog. You’ll also find a condiment bar where you can create your own perfect dog with traditional toppings, plus a few extras like salsa.

You won’t find many healthy options here but you can substitute apple slices for french fries. If you do opt for apples instead of fries, then you can easily justify a yummy ballpark inspired dessert like cotton candy or cracker jacks. They also offer a fun souvenir cup that you can fill with a soft drink or lemonade slushy. Don’t forget anywhere that sells fountain drinks will also give you free ice water.

Dining Options

While hot dogs are typically a kid favorite, there are no kids meals per se on the menu, and this restaurant no longer serves all beef hot dogs but rather a mix of chicken and beef. This may be an issue for hot dog connoisseurs and people with certain food allergies.

Speaking of food allergies, a gluten-free hot dog bun is available. Just let them know when you order that you need a gluten-free meal and allow for extra time while they prepare it separately.

For anyone with bigger appetites like hungry teenage boys, upgrade your hotdog to a foot long version. And if you are a Disney Dining Plan family, you’ll be happy to note that Casey’s Corner is a participating location for the Quick-Service Dining Plan, Dining Plan, and Deluxe Dining Plan.

Breakfast is not currently listed as an option at Casey’s Corner, but there have been reports that it opens on some mornings offering muffins, bagels, croissants, and donuts.  It could be a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat as you head into the Magic Kingdom.

Tips for Eating at Casey’s Corner

On busy days, the line can extend out the front door and into Main Street. Head inside toward the far right register, which typically offers the shortest line. There is also toppings bars located on both the left and right sides of the counter. Being cognizant of the least busy side can help you save some time.

Choose from both outdoor seating and an expanded indoor seating area. Although on a hot day the indoor seating fills up fast, be sure to allow some patience to grab a seat. A few outdoor seats have a nice view of Cinderella Castle.

If your timing is right, you may catch their piano player, Jim Omohundro playing ragtime tunes and Disney favorites outside. He’s been playing piano at the Magic Kingdom for over 30 years, and his playing is well worth stopping by to have a listen.

Outdoor seating near the street at Casey’s Corner is also popular during the nighttime shows at the Magic Kingdom. If you get lucky you might find yourself a seat, not on the ground, to enjoy the Magic Kingdom’s latest fireworks show, Happily Ever After.

Where to find Hot Dogs at Walt Disney World

If you want a hot dog and Casey’s Corner doesn’t work for you, check out Liberty Square Market,  The Lunching Pad, The Friar’s Nook, Westward Ho, Sleepy Hollow and Tortuga Tavern at the Magic Kingdom.

If at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, try Restaurantosaurus or Yak & Yeti. Epcot’s food options tend to be more eclectic than a hot dog but you will find them at the Refreshment Cool Post in Epcot’s World Showcase. You can find a hot dog at Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner,  Backlot Express, Fairfax Fare, and KRNR The Rock Station at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
