This SheBuysTravel and her family of five have been eating their way through Disney Parks for more than a decade. They’ve taken trips using one of the Disney Dining Plans, and even more trips without one. So they’ve had plenty of opportunity to determine their favorite snacks in each park. Here’s a list of Magic Kingdom snacks that are worth the splurge — in both cash and calories!
Disclosure: Brands mentioned provided some consideration.
Today I’m tackling the list of my family’s favorite snacks available in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. I say “tackling” because in all honesty, there are just far too many from which to choose! To make it just a little bit easier, I’m going to ignore the classics for this list. Mickey bars, popcorn, churros, and Mickey-shaped pretzels are staples, and excellent choices in any park. But even when you set these aside, there are a plethora of snacks! So without further ado…
Top 10 Mouthwatering, Must Try Snacks at the Magic Kingdom
10. Orange-Pineapple Smooth from Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
This particular treat used to rank a bit higher on our list, but it’s harder to find these days! On a hot day in Tomorrowland, a smoothie from Auntie Gravity’s is always a refreshing treat. The flavors change throughout the year (we’ve seen Strawberry-Banana and Orange-Pineapple-Mango at times), but if you happen to notice this combination, you should definitely get one without hesitation.
9. Big Top Treats
Ok, I’ll admit it. This is at least a dozen different treats posing as one entry on this list. What can I say? I’m a bit of a cheater when it comes to Top 10 lists. Seriously though, this is a lovely little gem tucked away inside the Big Top Souvenirs store in Storybook Circus.
The treats here are reminiscent of Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs or the Boardwalk Bakery in Disney’s Boardwalk District. You’ll find gorgeous character-inspired candy apples and fresh caramel corn. You can even create your own masterpiece of chocolate covered goodies (marshmallows, pretzels, pineapple spears, etc). There is something for every sweet tooth under the big top!
8. Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
This one is pretty self-explanatory. There’s nothing wrong with the pre-packaged ice cream cookie sandwiches (if you can find them), but they are no comparison to your choice of ice cream on freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!
7. Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey’s Corner
I am a sucker for corn dogs, but the traditional Walt Disney World version doesn’t hold a candle to those served at Disneyland. The nuggets from Casey’s Corner are different still, but they’re delicious, easy to eat on the go, and come with a side of charming nostalgia in the wonderfully-themed quick service restaurant.
For a limited time you can purchase 4-Day/4-Park tickets that allow you to visit each theme park once at an amazing price.
6. Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Square from the Main Street Confectionery
I could have listed a variety of delicious items from the Confectionery… but since I already cheated once, I forced myself to choose just one. If the decadent square of peanut butter and graham covered in milk chocolate doesn’t interest you, rest assured there are plenty of other choices, like rice krispy treats, homemade fudge, and at least half a dozen other candy treats.

5. Sleepy Hollow Refreshment’s Fresh Baked Potato
The Liberty Square Market used to sell baked potatoes (and, seasonally, the most incredible roasted corn-on-the cob!), but they disappeared. Thankfully, they can now be found on the permanent menu at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. Unfortunately that means there just might be three items from Sleepy Hollow, but they are all too good to remove from this list!
The baked potato is included mostly for its value, but it’s always really tasty. It definitely hits the spot for our family as a light lunch or between-meals snack – especially in the cooler months!
4. Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
With its third entry on the list, we make yet another stop at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square. This little quick service counter serves a variety of waffle sandwiches – both sweet and savory – but the one with gobs of Nutella and fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas gets my vote every time! Honestly? The only reason this isn’t higher on the list is because it’s easy to duplicate elsewhere. It really is to die for, and I – gasp! – don’t even really like Nutella.
3. Sweet Pretzel Treats from The Lunching Pad
The Sweet Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel has been high on our list for many years. Whenever we try to describe this one, words simply don’t do it justice. It honestly doesn’t even look like much in person, but it’s a must-have for our family every trip.
New this year, The Lunching Pad also offers a Salted Caramel Stuffed Pretzel. This pretzel is filled with warm and gooey carmel, and is served with dipping chocolate on the side. The “salted caramel,” from what we can tell, comes not from a true salted caramel, but from the “salty and sweet” combination created by beginning with a soft pretzel. Honestly, this is the only instance of salted caramel I have enjoyed… and boy, did I enjoy it!
2. LeFou’s Brew from Gaston’s Tavern
LeFou’s Brew, found at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland, is a frozen apple drink with a hint of toasted marshmallow. (I prefer mine without the mango foam topping.) If you’ve enjoyed Red’s Apple Freeze in Disney’s California Adventure, this is simply a retheming of the same.
LeFou’s Brew is the first treat anywhere on Disney properties around the world that has a chance to unseat what has always been my top pick when it comes to Disney snacks. The only thing that makes it even better is if it’s served with a side of (gigantic) gooey cinnamon roll!
My Favorite Snack Anywhere on Disney property –
1. Aloha Isle’s Pineapple Dole Whip
While some prefer the citrus swirl from Sunshine Tree Terrace, I’m a Dole Whip girl through and through. Not only is it delicious and refreshing, but the ambience of Adventureland rounds out what I think is the World’s most perfect treat experience.
We have always opted for the Dole Whip Float (Dole Soft Serve with Dole pineapple juice), but now that alternates with a brand new Dole Whip Treat from Aloha Isle. The Pineapple Upside Down Cake topped with Dole Pineapple Soft Serve debuted earlier this year, and oh. my. goodness. It’s so good.
Using Disney Dining Plan Snack Credits
Once upon a time, the Disney Dining Plan snack credit was only good for a handful of select items. Admittedly, we grew kind of tired of rice krispy treats, packaged chips, and the other snacks that were included.

Thankfully, you can now use those snack credits for countless items throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. While there is no official list of eligible items, you’ll find the purple and white “DDP” symbol by food items at nearly every quick service and kiosk dining location.
In general, it’s worth asking about using a snack credit if an item is approximately $5 or less, though even that price point has gone up over the years. In most cases, any single-serving snack or side item, non-alcoholic beverage, or dessert, and many sizes of pre-packaged items can be purchased with one credit. We have, at one time or another, gotten every item on this list as a snack credit, except for the Nutella Waffle and Corn Dog Nuggets.
SheBuysTravel Tip: Your snack credits can be used at most Food and Wine Festival booths at Epcot, and often at outdoor kitchens during the Flower & Garden Festival, Festival of the Arts, and other special events. Be sure to ask before ordering, but this is one of the absolute best tips for getting the most from your dining plan credits!

Thanks for all the great suggestions! Is that a Mickey cupcake at the top, the in the wrapper with Mickey ears on top? It’s so cute!
Where can you find it? Also the salted caramel pretzel sounds amazing!
