When it comes to travel, we all want different things, but the one thing we all want is comfort. We spend plenty of money on our own furniture and home decor to make us feel comfortable. When we travel, feeling those same comforts of home in our hotel room can make all of the difference. The Residence Inn San Diego Downtown Bayfront gives you that comfort and then some when you opt to stay here during your travel in Southern California.

Location, Location, Location
When we travel we always want to be as close as possible to the fun. The Residence Inn San Diego Downtown Bayfront is close to it all. The waterfront hotel is near not only the convention center in San Diego but also the Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town, Lane Field, the new Lane Field Park and so much more. This prime location means that no matter what you’re doing in San Diego, you’re close to work, play and the beach.
Things To Do
San Diego is full of things to do and the Residence Inn makes a few of them even more accessible. There are theme parks that my family love to visit like SeaWorld or the San Diego Zoo and there is Old Town and the Gaslamp Quarter. You can visit a museum or go shopping at the Seaport Village. Take a tour on a Trolley or just hit the golf course nearby. The hotel even has special offers to fill your time at a fitness center nearby with complimentary fitness classes and more.
Updates and Design
When my family and I travel, we really don’t feel at home because it’s a hotel room and nothing else. At the Residence Inn, the suites are designed to feel like apartments with one or two bedrooms. You can even choose a studio suite. The rooms have been upgraded to be a more tech-savvy environment with things like free WiFi, and spacious work areas. Beyond the tech, the rooms come with fully equipped kitchens. These features make extending your stay a no brainer.
The Views
Part of the upgrades to the hotel comes in the form of panoramic views. The views make waking up every morning a breathtaking experience. There’s just nothing like seeing the San Diego Bay in real life high definition. It’s so real you can go outside and touch it. The views do vary, though, so be sure to ask for the specific type of view you or your family will enjoy the most.
Dining
Another aspect to travel that I just absolutely love is the food. Trying something new or ordering an old favorite while traveling is a fun experience. Especially when you can order hot breakfast and have it delivered right to you in bed. The Residence Inn has free, hot breakfast available to all guest, but there are so many options just outside the hotel. There are over countless restaurants nearby that you can enjoy the Gaslamp District and Little Italy all within walking distance.
Other Amenities
Some of the best amenities have already been covered, but some have yet to be uncovered. Things that are an extra bonus or may have separate fees but are still nice to have at the ready. These things include limousine services, valet, valet dry cleaning, on-site laundry, coffee and tea in the room and lobby. There’s even a service that will buy groceries for you and bring them to your room. Another welcomed addition is the pool, for those who would rather not swim in the ocean.
Stay And Play in the San Diego Downtown Area
The Residence Inn property wants everyone to come and stay. During your stay, they also want you to be comfortable, be able to relax and be able to play. Stay & Play is a way for people to enjoy San Diego while staying at the new Residence Inn San Diego Downtown Bayfront resort. If you choose the Stay & Play package, you get a free room upgrade, late checkout, and a $100 Visa gift card.
