While you’re having afternoon tea like British royalty at the popular Crown and Anchor restaurant, the kids will have a blast at the Prince & Princess Kid’s Club. Designed for guests ages 5-12 (or under age with a parent), the kid’s club offers a variety of fun, supervised activities where they can meet friends while learning about Bermudian culture. A stay at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort means free wifi and access to three pink-sand private beaches, an outdoor pool with swim-up bar, tennis club, fitness center and a 500,000 year old cave spa. There’s also an underground swimming cave, an inflatable playground and non-motorized water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling. When you’ve worked up an appetite, you can choose from three restaurants offering theme night buffets.

But the fun and adventure doesn’t have to stop on the resort grounds. You’ll also be near two world-class golf courses as well as other island attractions such as Blue Hole Park and the Bermuda Aquarium.

This upscale resort is packed with a variety of activities and amenities to make your vacation worthwhile. When not spending your day at the immaculate, pink sand beaches, you can pass the day lounging at one of the resort pools or jacuzzis, playing a game of tennis or practicing your swing at the 18-hole championship golf course. Get out in the water with snorkeling, jet ski and private boat rentals. There’s also an oceanfront beach club with a diving center and a luxe spa for the days you want to be pampered.

Don’t worry about the kids, because they’ll be just as entertained in the resort kids club. There they’ll participate in both on- and off-site activities including arts and crafts, a glow in the dark trampoline park (where I know my eight-year-old son could spend hours) and petting zoo.

As a mom who has a picky eater and often dreads grocery shopping, knowing that I can have it done for me before my arrival is enough to make me become a member!

Although not fully all-inclusive, the Pompano Beach Club offers a semi-all-inclusive plan called the “Modified American Plan” that includes daily breakfast and dinner at its oceanfront restaurants. The resort offers three restaurants and three bars, including a pool bar.

There are also a number of family-friendly amenities such as a heated oceanfront pool, cliffside jacuzzis, tennis court, pickleball, spa and salon, fitness center and game room. Learn how to kitesurf as a family, or spend the day enjoying water sports such as fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding or snorkeling. Want to practice your golf swing? You’re in luck because the Pompano Beach Club is right next to one of the island’s most popular golf courses.

One mom on TripAdvisor called the Pompano Beach Club “Wonderfully welcoming and fun for families.” In her words, “Our young kids were always served with a smile and they loved the beautiful beach and pool (with large kids’ pool)…Food is very good with plenty of variety and options for the kids. The staff are really helpful in every restaurant and make mealtimes as easy as possible for the family.”

In addition to having exclusive access to the island’s largest private beach, the resort offers amenities such as an 18-hole golf course, tennis center, Beach Club, two outdoor pools (one family-friendly and one for adults only), free wifi, fitness center and a relaxing, luxe spa. Additionally, there are opportunities for bike rentals, tours, and excursions that include cliff diving and exploring some of the island’s hidden caves.

At the Dive & Watersports Center, the entire family can take part in fun water activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, diving shipwrecks and reefs or windsurfing. There is also be a floating waterpark and obstacle course to add to the fun and adventure.

Dining options include seven on-site restaurants including a steakhouse and Italian, two bars and lounges, spa and poolside dining as well as in-room dining. Although it is not one of the all-inclusive resorts in Bermuda, some packages and plans include breakfast for additional meal savings.

Just 10 minutes from the capital city Hamilton in Paget Parish, it is conveniently located to many of the island’s local sights and attractions, giving families plenty of ways to spend the day both on- and off-resort.

Located on the South Shore next to the famous Elbow Beach, this resort offers unparalleled views. It boasts a 50-foot atrium with crystal skylights as well as tropical gardens that overlook the resort’s private beach. The resort also offers two tennis courts (with lessons available), temperature temperature-controlled swimming pool and free wifi. Together the family can enjoy excursions such as snorkeling or diving with dolphins. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll have two restaurants and one bar to choose from, all with stunning views.

In addition to its own list of amenities, the resort is also convenient to other family-friendly attractions such as the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Fort Hamilton, Crystal Cave and Blue Hole Park.

Cambridge Beaches Resort is a luxurious resort in Sandys Parish. It is an ideal resort in Bermuda for families with older children and adults vacationing without the kids. With private powdery beaches, private islands and coves, a vacation at this resort will feel like a dream come true.

Cambridge Beaches Resort is not a 100% all-inclusive family resort but does include breakfast-inclusive add-on plans for extra savings. Some of the resort amenities include a luxury spa, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam room. There are also two tennis courts, a putting green and a fitness center. The private islands can be reached by paddleboard, kayak or motorboat. Snorkeling and fishing gear are available to rent, as well as scooters and electric vehicles to explore the coastline. Or, take a deep sea fishing trip with the entire family.

While children are allowed on the resort, some certain areas and amenities only allow older kids and adults. For example, the Ocean Spa, Indoor Pool, Aquarian Baths and Turtle Cove beach only allow guests 13 and older. To enjoy spa treatments, guests must be age 16 or older. However, children are allowed in the indoor pool from 6-10 pm.
