Reaping the Rewards of Gambling at Atlantis Paradise Island

Nurse practitioner and SheBuysTravel reader Dusty Hane enjoys trying her luck at the Blackjack tables.

“I went to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas last year for a continuing education seminar. After our work was done each day, I would head to the casino to do a bit of gambling.”

It turns out Dusty gambled enough to earn a nice payout. “The resort sent me coupons for four free nights at The Cove, food and beverage credits and $500 for airfare reimbursement.” A deal too sweet to ignore, Dusty and her mom recently flew from Texas to The Bahamas for a mother/daughter girls’ trip on Paradise Island.

Dusty was impressed with the aesthetics of the Atlantis Casino.

“The casino is very clean, bright and open. Restrooms are conveniently located. The staff is very helpful and there are lots of gaming tables.”

Her game of choice is Blackjack – one of the most popular table games at Atlantis Casino and around the world. But she also wants to keep her spending levels in check.

“When I entered the casino to play Blackjack, one table had several people, but the limits were higher than what I wanted to play,” she explains. “I saw there were several empty tables so I asked the pit boss if he could lower the price at one of those tables.”

The pit boss agreed, and Dusty was able to enjoy her favorite game while her mom played the penny slot machines.
