When night falls at Walt Disney World, the sky glows with fireworks that turn evenings into storybook finales. For couples seeking romance, few moments rival savoring a delicious meal while watching the bursts of color reflected across the parks. My husband and I love ending our day around the table, sharing highlights and laughter before stepping outside for an illuminated musical nightcap. If you’re dreaming of a magical dinner paired with unforgettable views, here are five of the best Disney World restaurants for a romantic meal and fireworks.

Toledo Celebrates Art Both on the Plate and in the Sky

  • Location: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort Area
  • Food: Spanish-inspired cuisine including tapas, steak and seafood
  • Vibe: Vibrant and lively with artistic flair
  • Fireworks: View of both Magic Kingdom and Epcot fireworks

Why Book a Table: Dining under the color-changing ceiling, I feel transported to Catalonia. Whether sharing a plate of tapas or indulging in a perfectly cooked lamb chop, my meal intertwines food and art. After a spirited dinner, I take my glass of sangria to the deck to toast lights that dance across the sky and kiss my Prince Charming a sweet good night.

  • Location: Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Food: Prix fixe meal with a focus on seafood, seasonal and California cuisine
  • Vibe: Sophisticated elegance without being stuffy
  • Fireworks: Magic Kingdom fireworks, including music and narration

Why Book a Table: Celebrating 30 years, California Grill continues to shine. Personally, I like that the restaurant offers a three-course prix fixe option that includes favorites like the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli. I like to step away to watch the fireworks outside on the bridge after two courses, before returning to enjoy the dessert. The night exudes romance.

GEO-82 Fireworks Experience Brings Romance to the Night

  • Location: Epcot, World Celebration
  • Food: Specialty dessert event includes a specialty selected champagne, savory bites tasting tower and sweets selection
  • Vibe: Modern, sleek setting with a perfect view of World Showcase Lagoon
  • Fireworks: EPCOT’s Luminous: The Symphony of Us

Why Book a Table: After enjoying all day at the park, I want an air-conditioned spot just for adults. Although the price is significant, I choose the special indulgence because I cannot resist the superior champagne and delicate pastries. When I want to feel opulence in a theme park, GEO 82 delivers every time.

Spice Road Offers a Relaxed Meal

  • Location: EPCOT World Showcase
  • Food: Mediterranean cuisine
  • Vibe: Casual, laid back
  • Fireworks: EPCOT’s Luminous: The Symphony of Us

Why book a table: I choose the casual, outdoor restaurant when my husband and I want an easy meal. Although the location at the back of the park makes for a long walk after the fireworks show, it is the quicker meal option to enjoy without interrupting all the day’s fun.

Rooftop Deck at Paddlefish Offers Panoramic Views

  • Location: Disney Springs, The Landing area
  • Food: Primarily seafood with other limited options
  • Vibe: Approachable elegance
  • Fireworks: Various Disney properties depending on the weather.

Why book a table: While Disney Springs offers numerous restaurants, a window table at Paddlefish followed by a nightcap on the rooftop is a delightful date night. My husband and I prefer to share some appetizers, like our must-order lobster guacamole, for dinner. Then, as the fireworks illuminate the night, we enjoy a dessert and an after-dinner cocktail on the rooftop.
