Greenville, South Carolina’s picturesque setting welcomes travelers to a vibrant culinary scene rooted in Southern hospitality. Balancing traditional regional fare with innovative culinary offerings, the past, present and future meld on the plate.
During a recent long weekend trip to Greenville, I dove into the vast and diverse food scene and devoured every story told at the table.
Established restaurants sit next to emerging talents. Rich, nuanced food contrasts with lighter, farm-focused fare. The food trip demanded that I say yes to every course, plate and dessert. All the flavors were too tempting to turn down.
SheBuysTravel Tip: Downtown Greenville is ideal for walking. A centralized hotel option, like the Courtyard Marriott Greenville Downtown, offers easy access to many of the city’s restaurants.
