Situated at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains in the Coachella Valley, Palm Springs is a desert oasis of waterslides, outdoor pools, golf courses and gorgeous views. From cozy inns to swanky hotels, you’ll find an array of Palm Springs kid-friendly resorts.

The Greater Palm Springs Area in the Coachella Valley encompasses nine diverse cities: Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indio, Desert Hot Springs, La Quinta, Indian Wells and Coachella.

The family-friendly desert town is about a two-hour drive from Los Angeles and San Diego. Palm Springs is a memorable family vacation for its many kid-friendly resorts and unique attractions. Visit the Living Desert Zoo, ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and shop in downtown Palm Springs.

While Palm Springs is an ideal desert getaway year-round, winter is the prime season but summer brings lower rates. No matter when you go, you’ll find a wide selection of Palm Springs family resorts with many amenities, including dreamy desert spas.
