Sitting at the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge has seemingly endless activities. From miniature golf to mountain coasters, family fun is the name of the game. Like all great vacations, food is part of the fun. So taking in a Pigeon Forge dinner show is a must-do attraction.

With so many great dinner shows to choose from it’s hard to say which one is the best. However, if you’re committed to finding out, here’s where you need to eat. And, if you’re staying in nearby Gatlinburg, these Pigeon Forge dinner shows are less than 10 miles away. So the fun is still accessible, even if you are not staying right in Pigeon Forge.

Dolly Parton’s Stampede

3849 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

Dolly Parton’s Stampede dinner is the best-known and most popular Pigeon Forge dinner shows. Featuring friendly competition, horse riding stunts, aerial performances, musical productions, and more, this 1.5 hour show offers a four-course meal. Although this family-friendly show is not part of Dollywood, it is a great extension to your theme park visit.

The stampede dinner attraction meal consists of cream of vegetable soup, biscuit, whole rotisserie chicken, smoked pork loin, corn on the cob, a baked potato, and an apple turnover. Unlimited tea, coffee and Coca-Cola products are also included.

Pirate’s Voyage and Dinner Show

2713 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

Join Blackbeard and his quartermaster, Calico Jack, as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews in a battle on land, on deck, in water, and high above a full-sized pirate ship in an indoor hideaway lagoon. Fun for the whole family, this show features beautiful mermaids, tropical birds, and more. The show lasts about two hours.

The Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show menu may look familiar. You’ll receive a cream of vegetable soup, biscuit, fried chicken, sugar-cured ham, corn on dh cob, a baked potato, and an apple turnover. Unlimited tea, coffee, and Coca-Cola products are also included.

The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud

119 Music Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

The Hatfields and McCoys have the longest running feud in history, and this Tennessee dinner show will make you take sides. As these two families attempt to settle their differences mountain style, the audience will enjoy live music, dancing and clean comedy. Plus, you’ll see diving hillbillies and diving dogs in the McCoy dinner show’s swimming hole, acrobatic feats, and more.

The menu features fried chicken, pulled pork, southern style creamy soup, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, homemade bread and Granny’s Famous Specialty Dessert. Unlimited tea, coffee, and Coca-Cola products are also included.

The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show

If you love a good whodonit, this top-notch murder mystery show might just be for you. The current schedule has four shows available: Moonshine Murders, Who Shot the Sherrif!, Marriage Can Be Murder, and Killer Prom.

The live cast will draw the audience in to help solve the mystery and you can participate as much or as little as you want.

Menu includes a choice of soup, country fried chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, a dinner roll and cheesecake. While the show isn’t listed as family-friendly (rated PG-13 due to some adult innuendo), there is a children’s menu available. 

Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud

2530 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

While the lumberjack feud show is not exactly a dinner show, it’s a fun comedy show worth catching. There’s food and snacks available for purchase if you get hungry. However, it is not a traditional sit down Pigeon Forge dinner show as some of the others on this list are.

It’s still worth checking out. And the battle between the two groups of lumberjacks and lumber jills is fun and interactive, and the stunts are breathtaking. There are other interactive things to do at the on site adventure park, such as a climbing course and a freefall.
