The resort, popular with Mexican families, is under new management, Playa Resorts. The rooms are big, with balconies offering a Gulf or lagoon view, so when it’s time to put the kids to bed, the adults can take a bottle of wine to the balcony to watch the sunset. Or enroll the kids in the kids club and spend some quality time in the spa.

  • Numerous food options, including room service
  • Mini-golf, kid-sized zipline and climbing wall
