This beautiful, modern resort sits on the exclusive white sands of Golden Beach. Located about 20 minutes north of downtown Cabo San Lucas, apart from the other three Cabo Villa Group resorts. It works best for travelers who prefer to stay on-resort and have everything at their fingertips.

The Villa La Valencia offers a beautiful multi-pool area with a children’s pool, activity pool, and adults-only area. The four ocean-view jacuzzis are a great way to relax, especially during the cooler months. My 12-year-old and I agree that the best part is the 1,114 square-foot lazy river. It is the largest in Los Cabos, and the only lazy river you’ll find at any Cabo resort.

When it comes to activities and entertainment, Villa La Valencia does the job well. We didn’t turn on the TV once during our stay! If reducing screen time during Spring Break or other vacation periods is a goal, this resort makes it easy.

Sitting right on Medano Beach, Villa La Estancia offers Mexican hacienda-style charm and plenty of space to stretch out. My first visit was in 2012 as part of my annual birthday girls’ trip. The idea was to find a quiet, relaxing, non-party resort, and it certainly fit the bill. Guests must be 25 years old to partake in the all-inclusive package.

One of my favorite parts of Villa La Estancia is its picturesque and relaxing pool area. It also features a convenient swim-up pool bar, unlike its sister resorts.

My massage experience began with a short “Ritual of Light” grounding and meditation ceremony and ended with the tuning fork humming to close. I didn’t want to leave!

Villa del Palmar is a wonderful budget-friendly choice for families and those who like having entertainment and action just steps away. Its recent renovations have completely transformed several areas of the resort. It now features a brand-new lobby, updated restaurants and an expanded pool area. For family vacation periods like Spring Break or summer break, this one-size-fits-all family resort definitely belongs on your list.

Villa del Palmar offers plenty to keep you busy from the moment you walk in. The main pool has a splash pad area so that families can easily enjoy it together. The adults-only section sits elevated above the family pool, ensuring a quieter, more peaceful experience. My son and I both agree that the main pool seems a bit shallower than other resort pools.

After dinner, head to Tortugas Terrace for one of their regular live shows. The open-air seating, large stage and great sound system make the shows feel incredibly engaging. My son and I recommend The Greatest Showman, a lively, exciting show for the entire family.
