1. Spacious Suites

Whether you’re traveling with your children or extended family, The Stafford London houses an array of suites. I stayed in a Junior Suite inside the hotel’s Main House building. It was spacious, and I especially liked the lounge room with a couch and a television, which I watched after a long day of sightseeing. Other in-room (or in-suite) amenities are:
- Marble en suite bathroom
- Nespresso machine
- Toiletries
- Desk
- Widescreen HDTV
2. Connecting Rooms

To keep the family close, The Stafford houses connecting rooms in all three of the hotel’s buildings. Some rooms are connected via an in-room door, others are connected via a corridor.
3. The Stafford Children’s Afternoon Tea

Few things are more magical than taking little ones to tea and watching their eyes light up at the stacked trays of tiny treats, the ritual of pouring the tea and the general fanciness of it all. Children ages 12 and younger can join the Children’s Afternoon Tea. It features scones, miniature pastries and sweet treats, as well as some child-friendly sandwiches for £50 per child.
SheBuysTravel Tip: Ask your server to explain the history of the mouse-shaped treat you’ll enjoy during your tea.
4. Sweets in the Lobby

There’s not much kids love more than sweets, especially when on holiday. That said, you can find an assortment of sweets available in the lobby daily. I liked that there were multiple sets of tongs and colorful bags for helping oneself to some treats to bring back to your room or on your next adventure.
5. Complimentary Breakfast for Children

Children age 12 or younger get a free breakfast during your stay so you can head off on the day’s adventure with full tummies.
In addition, kids ages 12 and younger get a free lunch or dinner when dining with a paying adult at MICHAEL CAINES restaurant during certain United Kingdom school holiday periods.
6. The White Mouse Detective Hunt

Reserve The Stafford London’s Family Getaway Package and the kids can participate in The White Mouse Detective Hunt. It’s a fun way to explore the hotel’s hidden details.
7. Cribs and Cots Available

Rollaway beds and/or baby cots (cribs) are complimentary for families staying in certain room types.
8. The Stafford London’s Family Getaway Package

The hotel offers the Family Getaway Package, which includes:
- The White Mouse Detective Scavenger Hunt
- A Moulin Roty White Mouse toy per child
- Complimentary dining for children under 12
- Cupcakes on arrival
- 50% off a second interconnecting room
- Complimentary daily breakfast
- Children’s robes and slippers
9. It’s Located Near St. James’s Park and Buckingham Palace

The Stafford London is located steps away from popular family attractions and sights, including St. James’s Park and Buckingham Palace. The park can serve as a place for family picnics, walks, and photos.
10. Most Rooms Have Bathtubs

Every suite at The Stafford has a bathtub in the bathroom. While not guaranteed, most standard rooms at the hotel do, too, in addition to a shower.
