10 Reasons The Stafford London Works for Families

London luxury hotels aren’t always known for rolling out the red carpet for families, but The Stafford London quietly does just that. Tucked into the elegant St. James’s and Mayfair neighborhoods, this storied hotel blends old-world sophistication with thoughtful, genuinely family-friendly touches that make traveling with children feel seamless rather than stressful.

After staying here, I’d confidently recommend it to parents planning a London trip with kids in tow.

Few things are more magical than taking little ones to tea and watching their eyes light up at the stacked trays of tiny treats, the ritual of pouring the tea and the general fanciness of it all. Children ages 12 and younger can join the Children’s Afternoon Tea. It features scones, miniature pastries and sweet treats, as well as some child-friendly sandwiches for £50 per child.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Ask your server to explain the history of the mouse-shaped treat you’ll enjoy during your tea.

4. Sweets in the Lobby

There’s not much kids love more than sweets, especially when on holiday. That said, you can find an assortment of sweets available in the lobby daily. I liked that there were multiple sets of tongs and colorful bags for helping oneself to some treats to bring back to your room or on your next adventure.

5. Complimentary Breakfast for Children
