Lotte Hotel Seattle delivers a quiet, spacious and well-located downtown stay that works beautifully for multigenerational families, pairing modern rooms, thoughtful amenities and standout dining with easy access to Seattle’s top attractions.
Highlights:
- Spacious, modern rooms with artistic décor
- Prime downtown location makes sightseeing eas, even on a short stay
- High-end amenities and service, including a tech-forward 24-hour gym, full-service spa and rooftop restaurant
As someone who frequently travels with my family, I know what it takes to accommodate multigenerational trips: space to spread out, good food and a convenient location. On a recent Seattle getaway with my sister and mother, I wanted a hotel that checked every box and Lotte Hotel Seattle delivered. It even won over my mother, a tough critic of big-city hotels who worries about noise. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t an issue. With easy access to attractions like the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, plus a rooftop restaurant, Lotte Hotel Seattle became a comfortable home base for a weekend that worked for everyone.

Rooms at Lotte Hotel Seattle

The rooms at Lotte Hotel Seattle have a contemporary and modern feel with an artistic flair. I stayed in a deluxe queen which was perfect for my party of three, as it was spacious and didn’t make us feel cramped and pressed for room to move and breathe while getting ready and unwinding at the end of the night.
Room Highlights
- Firm beds
- Sofa
- Coffee machine
- Mini refrigerator
- Flat-screen television
- Desk
- Floor-to-ceiling windows with a view
- Bathroom with two sinks
- Ample bathroom counter space
Whimsical Art Decor
As an arts lover, I appreciated the framed pieces of artwork placed sporadically throughout the room. It gave the space a progressive and futuristic feel and it even impressed my mother who told me she never stayed in a hotel room with that much art in her fifty years of life, quite impressive if you ask me.

Pet-Friendly
It is worth noting that the property is pet-friendly for dogs (up to two per room); call the hotel to discuss weight restrictions. There’s a pet fee added on to the cost of the stay that includes a dog bed, food and water bowls, waste disposal bags and dog treats. This can be beneficial for families who are vacationing together and don’t want to hire a pet sitter while they are traveling.
SheBuysTravel Tip: If you plan on arriving at the hotel in the morning, keep in mind that check-in is at 4 pm and checkout is 11 am. You can check in early if rooms are available; however, there’s no guarantee.
Amenities at Lotte Hotel Seattle

Lotte Hotel Seattle charges a $25 per night Urban Experience fee for amenities including:
- Complimentary Wifi
- In-room refreshments (e.g., Nespresso, bottled water, tea)
- In-room fitness items on request (yoga mats, balls, etc.)
- Complimentary postcard postage (on request)
- Welcome beverage upon arrival
The Lotte and Lexus
A luxurious amenity is the hotel house car. I’ve used some in the past, but never experienced a property with a Lexus available to guests. The Lexus LX 600 provides complimentary rides within a 2-mile radius of the hotel.
I tried to take the house car during my stay; however, it was being used when I needed it. But my mother, who was tired of walking, called the desk and had the car come pick her up from Pike Place Market. It saved both time and money, plus the hassle of figuring out how we’d get her back to the property quickly and safely at night.
Lotte Hotel Seattle Fitness Center
The on-site gym is quite impressive and was a fan-favorite by my sister, who likes to do a quick workout each morning. Inside the gym are Technogym cardio and strength machines, ARKE training gear, a Peloton bike and a stretching studio. For a hotel gym, it’s definitely one of the more impressive ones I’ve seen in my travels with its tech-savvy equipment and design-forward interior.
Spa
If you’re looking to get pampered, the Le SPA de l’hôtel LOTTE is a great place to go. It’s a full-service spa offering massages and facials and access to saunas and steam rooms. Whether you’re hoping to sneak away from the kids for an hour or two or simply spend some time with a partner while on a trip, booking an appointment at the spa should be a welcome opportunity. I didn’t have time for a treatment on this trip, but it’s on my list for next time.
Food at Lotte Hotel Seattle

In most cases, I’d say a hotel for a multigenerational family should have more than one restaurant; however, I think this one works for families with both young and old travelers. Located on the 16th floor, Charlotte Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has magnificent views of Elliott Bay from the perimeter tables. It’s known for its robust menu (both pre-fixe and à la carte) with seasonal delights and locally-sourced seafood for lunch and dinner. It might not sound kid-friendly; however, there were several when I dined there.
I went for dinner and had the garden vegetable risotto, which was made with a blend of peas, carrots, asparagus, wild mushrooms, fresh herbs and herb roule cheese. It was the perfect blend of creamy and hearty that left me feeling full and satisfied afterwards.
While my sister and I dined at the restaurant, my mother was tired and wanted a quick drink and to go to sleep, so she went to the lounge, which was more laid back and casual with a menu filled with light bites and drinks.
Things to Do Near Lotte Hotel Seattle

Since my family and I only had 48 hours in Seattle, we wanted to squeeze nearly all of the popular tourist attractions into our itinerary. There’s no shortage of things to do in the city. Here are some of the best attractions located near the Lotte Hotel Seattle:
- Head to the Space Needle to take in the 360-degree view of the Puget Sound, Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
- Walk across the street and look at glass-blown sculptures and flowers. Our mother loved sitting in the garden area and watching the live glass-blowing demonstration.
- In the same area, you’ll find the Museum of Pop Culture, where you can learn about the history of pop culture and look at fascinating exhibitions on beloved music, film and television — this is perfect for teens, tweens, young adults and even older folks.
- Plus, I can’t forget to mention Pike Place Market, as it’s one of the top destinations in Seattle that has almost every food dish you can think of (right next to the ORIGINAL Starbucks).
Sightseeing Savings
I highly recommend getting the Seattle CityPASS so you can experience several popular attractions in the city at up to 50 percent off. The included attractions are the Space Needle and Seattle Aquarium, plus three of the following: Chihuly Garden and Glass, Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour, Museum of Pop Culture, Woodland Park Zoo and the Pacific Science Center. The tickets for the attractions are included with the cost of the pass; however, reservations need to be made in advance, except for the Pacific Science Center.
Getting to Lotte Hotel Seattle

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, without traffic. If you don’t want to deal with driving, the Link Light Rail runs from the airport to Pioneer Square Station, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The train costs $3.00 compared to the $30-$50 Uber and takes approximately 40 minutes.
My mother and sister were tired and didn’t want to take public transit. So we opted for ride share, which worked for us. But it’s good to know there’s efficient, cost-friendly public transit in the area.
SheBuysTravel Tip: There’s valet parking available through the hotel for $75 per day or you can search for street parking in the surrounding area, although that’s usually hard to come by since it’s in the busy business district.
