Madison Beach Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton is a coastal gem in Madison along the Connecticut shoreline. It’s Connecticut’s only beachfront, boutique resort and spa. Originally built in the 1800s as a rooming house for ship builders, the hotel then transformed over the years into an adult-only year-round destination.

This spa resort overlooking the Long Island Sound offers amazing highlights including:

  • On-site fine dining options, including exquisite cocktails
  • A private beach with chairs to relax in while watching the sunset
  • Private balconies for all rooms to soak in the calm ocean breeze

SheBuysTravelTip: Make sure to wake up early as guests can catch both sunrise and sunset from the comfort of their private balcony in this unique location along the coast.

The Madison Beach Hotel offers a range of rooms from double beds to two-bedroom suites. Each room includes a working desk, coffee maker, refrigerator and access to the fitness center.

If you’re looking for relaxation, The Sounds of the Sea Spa has wonderful rejuvenating services including hot stone massages. Although I didn’t have time to enjoy the spa, I can’t wait to have a Swedish massage during my next visit.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Skip the airport stress — Lyft’s On-Time Pickup Promise guarantees your scheduled ride shows up within 10 minutes of your pickup time. If it doesn’t? You’ll get Lyft Cash. You can schedule up to 90 days in advance and even lock in your rate. Use code SBT25 to save 25% off ONE scheduled ride to the airport.

The 33 rooms nearly all have a furnished private balcony overlooking the Long Island Sound and are steps away from the private beach that hosts live music concerts in the warmer months.
