From quick service to table service, reservations required and character meet and greets, deciphering all of the dining options at Walt Disney World can be daunting. This guide to restaurants in Magic Kingdom should be your first step to planning where and what to eat at Disney World in Orlando.

While zipping around the parks, it is important to have a good grasp on where to find a specific type of food (Dole whip, anyone?). This guide to Magic Kingdom restaurants at Walt Disney World can help keep hangry kids (and parents!) at bay.

Disney Quick Service Dining

This style restaurant allows for grabbing a quick bite while dashing from the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to Splash Mountain.

Main Street USA

Main Street Bakery (Main Street USA)  Get your Starbucks fix here; you’re going to need the jolt of caffeine before your day at the park and probably on your way home so you can stay awake to get back to the hotel!

Casey’s Corner (Main Street USA) This baseball-themed restaurant is tons of fun AND a great place for your family’s hot dog fans.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (Main Street USA) If you are looking for the famed “kitchen sink” sundae, this is the place to grab it. Oh, the sweet goodness that comes out of this place is the stuff that memories and fantastic photo pass pictures are made of!

Tomorrowland

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies – Get your baked goodies and ice cream here! Didn’t eat breakfast? Grab a quick milk and cereal here.

Cool Ship –  Haven’t had your Mickey Pretzel fix yet? Grab one after you get off Space Mountain!

Adventureland

Aloha Isle –  If you are anything like me, you need multiple Dole Whips on your trip. This is the Dole Whip spot in the Magic Kingdom.

Sunshine Tree Terrace –  Citrus swirls (there is a huge debate about which one is better, the citrus swirl or the Dole Whip) and other cool treats are sure to pick you up!

Tortuga Tavern – If a turkey leg is one of your Disney #snackgoals, this is the spot for you.

Liberty Square

Liberty Square Market – If you are looking for some healthier options that are quick to grab, head to Liberty Square.

Columbia Harbour House – Have a hankering for a lobster roll? Guess what? You can find one here!

Sleepy Hollow –  This is one of our favorite spots for breakfast. Fresh waffles topped with Nutella and strawberries and bananas. Yum!

Frontierland

Golden Oak Outpost –  Grab some chicken nuggets, fries and cool off with a drink!

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn – Looking for some Mexican style food? SheBuysTravel tip: Order nachos off of the menu. They are epically huge.

Westward Ho – Snacks like chips and frozen lemonade are available here.

Fantasyland

Cheshire Cafe – Here you can get a light breakfast; think muffins, fruits and cereals.

The Friar’s Nook – Kids asking for mac and cheese? You can find some here!

Gaston’s Tavern – Hummus and cinnamon rolls are available at this restaurant. Probably not all at once though.

Pinocchio Village Haus – Flatbreads and pasta are the menu items that keep hungry Mouseketeers coming back!

Prince Eric’s Village Market – Grab a healthy snack and a cool drink and recharge here!

Storybook Treats – Hot fudge sundaes and other cold treats can be found here

Walt Disney World Table Service Dining

This style is just as it seems. Due to the fact that there aren’t as many table service restaurants, reservations are all but required and you’d better jump on making them. Seriously. You can make reservations 180 days in advance of your trip. Set a reminder on your phone now!

The Diamond Horseshoe – (Liberty Square) If your gang is looking for BBQ and baked beans look no further than this spot.

The Plaza Restaurant – (Main Street USA) This restaurant doesn’t require reservations; however, you might have to wait for an hour or more to eat. Find it on Main Street just before you head into Tomorrowland.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Try hitting the Plaza Restaurant during off hours–mid morning or mid afternoon–to reduce your wait times.

Liberty Tree Tavern – (Liberty Square) Celebrate Thanksgiving no matter the time of year, all while paying tribute to our founding fathers.

SheBuysTravel Favorite Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurants:

Be Our Guest Restaurant – (Fantasyland) Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You are going to need reservations to eat in the Beast’s castle.  This is one of the most popular restaurants in all of Walt Disney World.

Cinderella’s Royal Table – (Fantasyland) Do you have fans of princesses, especially Cinderella? Then a meal here is a must!  This restaurant is a prime spot for dining with princesses.

Skipper Canteen – (Adventureland) This location is for the diner who wants to try new cuisine. It is one of the Magic Kingdom’s newest additions so we suggest reservations.

Crystal Palace – (Main Street USA) Have a meal with Winne the Pooh and his friends. This breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet needs to be on your list!
