I had the chance to step inside the Pillsbury Doughboy’s holiday cottage, and it wasn’t in the North Pole but in New York City. This festive suite was created in collaboration with Club Wyndham Midtown 45 and gives people the chance to stay in a super sweet suite right in the heart of Midtown. It’s a limited-edition offering happening at the property and as a fan of hyper-themed suites, I knew I had to check it out. Spoiler alert: I was highly impressed and want to move in ASAP!

This experience was hosted. All opinions are my own.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Make sure you arrive by 4 pm when check-in starts so you can take advantage of the natural lighting for photos during your stay. Check out is 10 am on the day of your departure.

Club Wyndham Midtown 45 has partnered with Pillsbury for the holiday season to create the Let It Dough suite just in time for the holiday season. The Pillsbury Doughboy holiday suite is designed to transport guests into the cottage of the beloved Doughboy with his iconic blue and white color scheme and holiday lights galore.

As soon as I stepped in, I felt like I was walking into a holiday movie and didn’t want to leave. Around the room, there were throw pillows shaped like Pillsbury holiday cookies, festive lights, a Christmas tree and a fridge filled to the brim with sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, hot cocoa rolls and chocolate chip cookies—I checked out of the suite with a belly full of cookies and kids will most definitely walk away with a sugar rush.

I’ve stayed in my fair share of themed suites like the Beetlejuice one in Times Square, but this one is so special and unique and has raised the bar going forward. I felt completely immersed in the story and the only thing that was missing was the chance to meet the Doughboy himself. If you have kids, they will absolutely love the fun that can be had inside this room from the photo booth to the cookie decorating—it’s family fun at its finest.

If you’re looking for a festive, hyper-themed holiday suite in New York City, it really can’t get better than this. Yes, it has a pretty hefty price tag for a three-night stay; however, you won’t find anything else like it in the city or anywhere else for that matter.
