At the 2024 Grammy Awards, host Trevor Noah joked upon seeing Taylor Swift walk through a ballroom filled with music’s glitterati that “as Taylor moves around the room, the local economy around her improves.” And while it garnered a respectable laugh, Noah’s observation was more than a comical punchline, it was and still is a compelling truth. In a term dubbed “Swiftonomics” to describe Swift’s profound impact on local industry, it’s no secret that the mega pop star’s concerts in a city lead to significant ripple effects around the time Swift is there.

From an influx in hotel bookings to a swell in restaurant reservations, not to mention legions of fans exploring the host city like it was a wild dream, Swifties are sure ready for it. And while recently certain subsections of the population (*cough* NFL fans) aren’t so keen about Swift’s presence, this Canadian city is eager to be the epicenter of sad girl autumn as helmed by Swift’s tour dates.

As Toronto gears up for Swift’s three day residency, the city is abuzz with all sorts of Taylor-themed events and experiences. From Swiftie-coded baked goods at local restaurants to a creative “Taylgate” party hosted at The Metro Convention Center, to lighting the city up in Swiftie red, the city is bracing for November 14 to 16 as if it were the Taylor Olympics. And such is the power of Taylor Swift that one of the most luxe hotels in Toronto transformed one of their one-bedroom suites into a Swiftie-dreamland.

The Bisha Hotel Toronto has emphatically embraced Swiftonomics, transforming seven floors of the hotel into Eras-themed playgrounds in time for Swift’s concert dates. Each floor, named for a different “era” in homage to Swift’s discography and tour moniker, will feature a swift Taylor-fying with Taylor-inspired branding, themed art, and friendship bracelets all at hand. Pre-concert experiences are also expected to be available during the week for that extra level of fandom bonding too. And the ultimate Swifitie experience at Bisha Hotel will be available, not just during Taylor’s concerts, but for forever after as well.

Debuting last spring, Bisha’s “The Taylor Suite” offers a fully immersive and carefully curated Taylor experience. Decked out in all things T-Swift, the suite is located on the RED-themed floor of the hotel. It joins Bisha’s collection of other artist-inspired rooms including The Marilyn, The Stella, and The Nina. Staying in The Taylor is beyond just your normal hotel stay for a concert – it’s living a Taylor lifestyle that fully embraces the fangirl/boy way of life, celebrating a pop culture icon.

What to Expect From The Taylor Suite

The Taylor is more than a room, it’s an immersive experience. A one-bedroom suite with darkly chic and sultry accents and finishes, it has the potential to simultaneously be a respite away from the Swiftie-enthused crowds or be at the center of the Taylor party. It’s all what you want to make it. Whether you choose to have a relaxing soak in the massive stand-alone tub – with a fierce portrait of Taylor growling down at you – or pump up the jams with Taylor-specific playlists in the decked-out living room and bar area of the suite, there’s no shortage of Taylor love here.

Guests who book into the Taylor Suite can expect Taylor-ed extras upon arrival as well, including a bottle of sparkling wine to greet you and custom friendship bracelets. Swifties who reserve their Taylor Suite stay will also receive some Taylor-inspired art, a commissioned piece by local artist Nashid Chroma. The suite is laden with photo opportunities as well, with every corner fully furnished with Taylor details, but seamlessly blended with Bisha’s signature rocker chic touches.

Bisha Hotel Amenities

The Bisha Hotel isn’t any old hotel capitalizing on Swift’s concert residency. Rather, from the hotel’s conception, creativity, luxury, and music have always anchored the hotel’s brand. With a VIP floor crafted by Kravitz Design (yes as in Lenny) and a founder well integrated in the Canadian entertainment scene, the Bisha Hotel oozes an intangible cool factor. Maybe it’s the Jeff Koons sculpture in the lobby or the gilded and marble decor throughout the hotel’s public areas –  there’s just something magical about the hotel’s presence in Toronto – much like Swift.

Staying at the Bisha Hotel means nothing short of luxury. In the room, guests can expect lavish touches, like BYREDO toiletries, and plush robes that only the most decadent of hotels still provide. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy the elevated, suite/sweet life at the hotel’s fashionable rooftop restaurant and bar, KŌST. Showing off the culinary prowess that Toronto is becoming swifty known for, KŌST’s Executive Chef, Sung Won Hwang brings California cool to Toronto for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Along with the hotel’s other dining options, including French Made for stylish baked goods, Akira Back for elevated, global Japanese-Korean inspired cuisine, and Mister C Bar Room, a sophisticated lobby bar, guests are spoiled for choice.

Overall, the hotel’s lush amenities – including a state-of-the-art gym, pool, and even a VIP Manager – is reason in itself to give the Bisha Hotel a try. Let alone its wowing Swiftie transformation.

Hotel and Suite Details

Convinced to join the legions of fans in this Swiftie takeover of Toronto? Then look no further than the Bisha Hotel. Much like the mystique of Taylor’s power around the globe, Bisha’s broodingly cool atmosphere has “that girl” written all over it, not unlike our favorite American songstress. But Bisha’s embracing of Swift’s presence isn’t the least bit superficial – it’s truly leaning into a fandom that they know and love, incorporating an established brand built on music heritage, design, and fandom. Don’t be shy, act like it’s your birthday everyday and long live Bisha Hotel’s luxury (and Taylor Suite).
